Membership Renewal

Thanks for renewing your membership in the Montana Photonics Industry Alliance, an alliance committed to helping Montana optics and photonics businesses and institutions grow and sustain globally leading organizations.  The following paragraphs summarize the benefits and types of membership available.

Benefits of Membership

Members of the MPIA received the benefits listed below and the strength of a unified industry voice for:

  • Developing local and state executive and legislative support
  • Interaction with economic development group
  • Workforce development, and advancement and improvement of educational infrastructure
  • Obtaining group discounts (future benefit)

Our members are a part of an ever growing network of like minded individuals who are always willing to lend a helping hand, give advice, and provide assistance.  The following three categories of membership are available.

Regular Membership

Regular Membership is open to Montana optics and photonics companies that (a) manufacture or sell products that rely on optics or photonics technology for a significant portion of their functionality; or (b) derive a majority of their revenue from products that are sold into the optics or photonics market.  Regular members are asked to designate a primary contact person for their organization.  Employees of Regular Member organizations are included as Regular Members and may receive email notifications upon request.

Benefits of Regular Membership include:

  • Attend quarterly networking socials at no charge
  • A free listing on the MPIA website and link to the organization’s website
  • Ability to join the Montana cluster of booths at the annual Photonics West trade exhibition and receive a discount on individual booth spaces
  • Free job postings on the MPIA website
  • Email notifications of MPIA sponsored events
  • Email notifications of relevant training events

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is open to community partners that offer services to Montana optics and photonics organizations.  This includes banks, economic development organizations, consultants, accountants, lawyers and similar service providers.  Associate members are asked to designate a primary contact person for their organization.  Employees of Associate Member organizations are included as Associate Members and may receive email notifications upon request.

Benefits of Associate Membership include:

  • Attend quarterly networking socials at no charge
  • A free listing on the MPIA website and link to the organization’s website
  • Email notifications of MPIA sponsored events
  • Email notifications of relevant training events

Individual and Student Membership

Individual Membership is open to students and anyone who does not fall into one of the above categories but has an interest in photonics and/or optics technology or business.  As an Individual or Student Member you automatically become the key contact for your membership.

Benefits of Individual Membership include:

  • Attend quarterly networking socials at no charge
  • Email notifications of MPIA sponsored events
  • Email notifications of relevant training events

Annual Dues

Dues are voluntary in 2016!  Annual dues for Regular and Associate member organizations are based on the number of employees in your Montana based organization as shown in the table below.  Upon individual request, employees of your organization are included as members at no additional cost.

If you elected to forego dues payment this year, no further action is required.

If you requested an invoice, it will be sent to the address you provided within 5 business days.
