Materials Handler I

Vision Aerial, Inc. is a fast-growing technology company designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) for use in demanding industrial environments. Vision Aerial systems have been deployed all over the world and are used in a wide range of applications including mapping/surveying, firefighting, infrastructure inspection, and search & rescue. JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Handler I will be responsible for handling incoming materials, internal material transfers, and shipping of finished products. This position entails a high level of detail, acute observation skills, analytical and mechanical skills, and an understanding of good manufacturing practices.

What you’ll do:

• Move, load, and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
• Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory counts
• Pull and manage inventory kits for production jobs
  Prepare finished products for shipment
• Perform and report cycle counts and physical inventories
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move freight
• Perform basic (ERP) system transactions including maintaining inventory what we’re looking for:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and be flexible with changing priorities
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience
• Able to communicate effectively and the ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and the Theory of Constraints are a plus
• Knowledge of software applications such as Google Docs, Sheet, and Slides to produce reports and graphs is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to use fingers to manipulate small parts
• Ability to reach with arms and use hands to seize, hold, and grasp objects.
• Excellent vision is required to perform a job.
• Required to work with toxic or caustic materials or chemicals, such as lead-based solder
  Ability to lift 60 pounds
